Witch Trials in Danvers - Not Salem!
As anyone who's ever cracked open a history book knows, the Witch Trials were held in Danvers, not Salem. They did hang witches in Salem, however, and there's stuff about that in Cyber Screams. Some really creepy stuff.

i started reading the cyber screams book last night. i'm already on chapter 8! does bludhound4 know that the story is set in salem, massachusetts? if you really want to find peter furie, you might want to start there. in case you don't know, salem is where they had the witch trials & hung all those old ladies?

Called BANGZOOM Publishing again today. Same receptionist, same stonewall. She's not at "liberty" to discuss Peter Furie or any other BANGZOOM authors. I ask for somebody higher up and the line goes dead. Okay, what's the deal here? So I go online and search for some of their other titles. I find one about the meaning of Christmas by Clifford P.Boyle. I call back, ask questions, and the lady cheerfully gives me the entire life history of Clifford P.Boyle, right down to the Little League team he coaches. That's great, I say, Now what about Peter Furie? This time she puts me on hold for ten minutes. Then the line goes dead. This is starting to get on my nerves. Does anybody out there know anything about this guy?

WHO IS PETER FURIE?
Fact or fiction: Hes the author of Cyber Screams, this tale of terror about teens trapped inside a video game, but no one at BANGZOOM Publishing has anything to say about him. They won't even discuss him when you call. It's this big mystery or something. On the inside cover of Cyber Screams, in the place where you'd usually find the author profile, it says: "Very little information is available on Peter Furie. He is believed to be between 16 and 25 years of age and living somewhere in Massachusetts." Are these people kidding? They're gonna have to do better than that. Bludhound is on it.
